Zia Fatemi, M.D.

Board Certified Internist.

Dr. Zia Fatemi is a Diplomate of American Board of Internal Medicine, having trained at Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University.

He practiced as an internist in California and later moved to Florida as the medical director of the largest hospitalist program in Central Florida.

n the year 2000, he joined his wife, Dr. Zadeh at SunState Medical. His background has provided him with a firm base in outpatient as well as hospital care.

The American Medical Association granted him the “Physicians Recognition Award” for his dedication to patient care. Recently, he has been elected as chief of department of Internal Medicine at Central Florida Regional Hospital.

He is recognized by his peers as a dedicated physician and compassionate human being.


Farideh A. Zadeh, M.D.

Board Certified Internist.

Dr. Farideh Zadeh completed her residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Case Western University. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.

She started her practice in California in 1995 and moved to Florida in 1998.

She received her preceptorship award from the American Medical Association for her efforts towards medical student training.

She has a special interest in women’s health and preventive care. Awarm and caring physician, she is extremely popular with her patients and is attentive to all aspects of patient care.

Besides her full time practice, she is raising two sons, Daniel and Cyrus.


Pothen C. Koruth, M.D.

Board Certified Internist.

Dr. Pothen C. Koruth is a Board Certified Internist who completed his training in internal medicine at Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University.

Following residency, he started practice in California and later moved to Central Florida to help establish one of the first fully pledged hospitalist programs in the country.

In 1999, he teamed up with Dr. Farideh Zadeh, a professional colleague of long standing, to start SunState Medical at its current location.

His vast outpatient experience in California and recent work as hospitalist have been a tremendous asset to his present practice.
